James Watt "Jimmy" Beatty, 89, of Honolulu, a retired Hawaiian Airlines chief mechanic, died in Hono lulu. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by daughter Dee Jay Beatty Mailer, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
