EDWARD "EDDIE" SUMAYLO LAPINID
Age 75, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away September 20, 2012 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born October 23, 1936 in Kualapuu, Molokai, Hawaii. A member of the Hawaii Army National Guard who served as a missle operator for the U.S. Army, also an avid bowler with the D.O.E. Bowling League.
He is survived by spouse, Alfreda Bueno Lapinid; son, Wayne E. (Lori) Lapinid; daughter, Cynthia J.L. (Waynne) Miyashiro; brother, Rehino (Victoria) Lapinid; sisters, Josephine L. Ponce, Cyrilla (Robert) Fortenbery of Las Vegas, NV, Dolores Lapinid, Katie Baker of Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren.
Visitation 10:00 a.m. Thursday (October 11) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Committal Service 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
