HARUO OSHIMAHARUO OSHIMA
84 passed away peacefully on Sunday September 30, 2012 at his home in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born in Anahola, Kauai he is survived by his wife Masako Oshima, son Chester, daughter Clara Foo, son-in-law Reginald Foo, Brother Haruto Oshima, Sisters Fumiko Matsukawa, Kazue Taogoshi and two grandchildren. Haruo was a Veteran and served in the Korean War. He worked for many years and retired from Hawaiian Electric Company in Honolulu as a Hydraulic Boom Truck Mechanic. Haruo loved to garden and grow plants and vegetables. He was a regular Plant seller at the Swap Meet each Sunday for many years and made many friends of his customers. He was a kind, and generous person who will be remembered for his gentle smile and loving heart. He would always be there for family or friends or anyone that needed his help. Visitation 9am Sunday Oct. 14 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services 10am. Aloha Attire. No Flowers.
