Joan Lee Dempster, 71, of Paauilo Mauka, Hawaii, formerly of Honolulu, a homemaker, died in Paauilo Mauka. She was born in Sonora, Calif. She is survived by husband Duncan Sr., son Duncan Jr., daughter Fiona and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings. Donations suggested to North Hawaii Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
