David Remoaldo, 88, of Omao, Kauai, a retired Pacific Machinery heavy equipment diesel mechanic and an Army veteran who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Kilauea, Kauai. He is survived by wife Margaret; daughters Susan and Mary Remoaldo, and Jennifer Reis; sisters Agnes Carey and Josephine Silva; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Oct. 20 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, Koloa. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery.
