76William C. "Willie" Fernandez, 97, of Waipahu, a retired Oahu Sugar Plantation mechanic and longtime foster parent, died in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son James "Jimmy," daughtersMarian Linville andRoseann Conroy, brother Stephen, sister Eva Perreira, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
