Gilbert Kinya Takamori, 97, of Honolulu, a retired Fort Shafter purchasing agent and an Army veteran who served in World War II with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, 522nd Battery A, died in 15 Craigside. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Wayne H., daughters Colleen K. Martin and Linda N. Oshiro, and three grandchildren. Private services.
