Gulielmus Baclaan, also known as "Mingky"and "Ben," 88, of Ewa Beach, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard base police officer and Army veteran who served in World War II, died in Aiea. He was born in Waialua. He is survived by wife Lorna C.; sons Alan, Isaiah and Elijah; stepsons Manuel, Lawrence and Eugene Lacanaria; daughters Ronnie Rhoades and Valerie McCormack; stepdaughters Irish Cabardo, HelenEbia, Rosemarie Zane, Miriam Inay and Gloria Jean Billinger; brothers Lorenzo and Alfred; sister Marie Bacoro; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation:9 a.m. Saturday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services:11:30 a.m. Burial:12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
