Robert V. "Bob" Jewell, 78, of Honolulu, a retired owner-mechanic for a gas station in Florida and an Air Force veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Payette, Idaho. He is survived by wife Yoko; son Michael Abrams; daughters Lynette Abrams, Kathy Jewell, Vicky Guerra and Linda Nye; brothers James and Steven; sisters Jill Maus and Jane Sailor; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation:5 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services:6 p.m. Casual attire.
