73Masaru Matsuwaki, 91, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a state carpenter, and his wife, Masuye Matsuwaki, 92, of Kalaheo, a homemaker, died in Hale Kupuna Heritage Home. He was born in Lihue. She was born in Hilo. They are survived by sons Mel and Owen, daughters June Schwartz and Ellen Laboguen, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Hitoshi and Alex, and sister Yoshie Sato. She is also survived by sisters Hiroko Segawa and Peggy Shintaku. Private services.
