Sammy Lanaihoku "Sammy" Moses Sr., 68, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii Motors partsman and a Hawaii Army National Guard veteran, died in Wisconsin. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Susan Spidell-Moses; sons Sammy Moses Jr., and Shane, James Jr. and Jake Silva; daughters Wendy Moses and Renee Moniz; brothers Jack, Joe, John and Paul; sister Theresa Correia; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua section. Casual attire.
