76Richardson Stephen "Kealoha" Smith Jr., 44, of Kailua-Kona, a sushi chef and former culinary chef for Restaurant Yokahama, Kuakini Cafe, Hualalai Resort and Four Seasons at Hualalai, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by companion Wynn Hanato-Smith; son Pookela Hanato-Smith; daughters Liana, Kara and Thea Hanato-Smith; parents Richardson Sr. and Caroline; brothers Randal and Rhine; and sister Debbie Amone.
