Helen Lahela Stone, "Tutu", passed away on March 4, 2013 in Kailua Hospice Care Home. She was born on January 10, 1923 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a retired bartender and a child care provider. She is survived by aunt, Helen "Aunty Lady" Solomon Kamana; sister, Anita Denning; brother, Earl Kalani Simerson; children, Joseph Raymond K. Lui (Agnes), Henry C. Lui (Sharon), Violet Lui-Frank (David), Isaac S. Lui (Suzanne), Adam P. Lui (Anna), Allan Lui (partner, Kehau). Also survived by Dawn Lui, mother of three of her grandchildren; 16 grand- children; 21 great-grand- children; and 3 great-great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces, especially Kevin Denning (Keko); hanai grand- sons, Jacob and Luke Tobias; beloved friends Leland Tobias (Tracy), Gary Moore (Dale), and the families in the Keaniani Street Lane. Her wishes were to be cremated; Services to be held in the Chapel at Oahu Cemetery, Nuuanu on March 22, 2013 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aloha Attire. Her ashes will be scattered on March 23, 2013 at Kailua Beach (Lanikai Boat Ramp) at 10 a.m.
