72James Hikaru Hinomiya, 70, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired school bus driver, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Charlotte "Amoo" Lewi-Hinomiya; daughter Marlo; stepdaughter Tanya DeCoito; hanai sons Kelcey Bungula and Christian Akiona; hanai daughters Traci Bungula and Destiny and Kuulei Akiona; and sisters Harriette Rompon, Mae Tahara, Adeline Sakamoto, Violet Gomes and Sharon Moromisato. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 7 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
