LINDA KAREN BIERIG (FREITAS DEMELLO)
LINDA KAREN BIERIG (FREITAS DEMELLO) Age 61 of Honolulu, died March 5, 2013 at her home in Nanakuli. Mrs. Bierig was born in Honolulu and a long time resident of the Waianae Coast. She was a homemaker for most of her life and enjoyed the beach. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Bierig of Okeene, Oklahoma; daughter, Christine Karen of Nanakuli and son, Anthony Harris (Tammy Malau'ulu) of Waianae; Stepson, Casey Bierig of Okeene, Oklahoma; Stepdaughter, Angel Bierig Dewitt of Okeene, Oklahoma; 5 Grandchildren, DeAnn Hall, Dwayne Hall Jr., Alana, Akoni, and Alekanekalia Harris and 2 Great Grandchildren, Diamond Holbron-Kealoha, and Emily Pimental; 4 sisters, Memory (Taulua) Pesamino, Bernadette (Homer) Keliiwaiwaiole, Norma Jean (Lonnie) Snyder, Patricia (Darrell) Yamane; brothers, Keoki (Kawehi Lum) and Kepa (Lindsey Kasperowicz); nieces, nephews, and many other relatives. Linda (MaMa) loved her family and the outdoors. Her passion was the beach and enjoyed picking beach shells and fishing. She was a loving mother and wife; outgoing and free-spirited. Memorial services will be held on March 23, 2013 from 10am - 3pm at Lualualei beach park (Middle Park) in Waianae. Scattering of ashes will be held at sunset at Makaha Beach.
