Carla Napua Kekuewa Freitas, 74, of Honaunau, Hawaii, a retired park ranger at Pu‘uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, died at home. She was born in Kona, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Wilfred, Loren, Michael and Kawika; daughters Kaui, Noe and Kehaulani Freitas, and Joby Crichton; brothers Wayne and Zadoc Kekuewa; sisters Ruby Kahoonei and Patricia Imai; 33 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Honaunau. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at the church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
