JEANETTE MIEKO (SAKAI) GOODJEANETTE MIEKO (SAKAI) GOOD
Mar 14, 1939 to March 19, 2008 Five years have now passed and my memories of Jeanette are stronger than the day she died. No one person could have given more of themself than Jeanette. She was a devout family member, routinely demonstrating her mettle to do what was right for her family, regardless of the time and effort it took to meet her personal satisfaction. This was shown for birthdays and all holidays during the year, but particularly the Christmas/New Year season. Jeanette was sought out by many due to her good deeds such as babysitting children at the drop of a hat; tutoring high school students in preparation for graduation; and gladly giving of her time in listening to others. Perhaps her most stunning achievement was rearing our children alone for more than six years during my military career for which she will never receive ample recognition. May God bless you Jeanette. I, along with Alissa, Stanley, and David, including their children, miss you so very, very much. She and our first born, Stephanie, are at peace in Punchbowl, the National Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu HI.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
