Mario Patli "Puring" Balloan Sr., 62, of Honolulu died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by wife Mercedes R.; sons Omar R. and Jomar R. Baluan, and Mario R. Baluan Jr.; daughters Lamar R. and Marla R. Baluan; mother Maria; brother Arsenio Baluan; sisters Nilda Bilingon, Lucena Racela, Violeta and Marilyn Baluan, and Annabel Picoc; and four grandchildren. Services to be held at a later date in the Philippines.
