Dorothy Kaui o makaweli o nalani kauai o mano o kalani po hakiu Beyer, 87, of Volcano, Hawaii, a hula instructor, florist, Volcano House front desk clerk and Mountain View Elementary School kupuna, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Koolaupoko, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Carl Kalani, and Alika and Emil Keahunahala Beyer; daughters Catherinealice Naniwa "Neva" Makizuru and Jacqueline Montgomery; brothers Paul K. and William K. Johnston; 14 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park.
