James Kenichi Takauye, 84, of Hawaii island, a retired insurance agent and an Army veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He is survived by wife Emi, son Kenn, daughter Janis, sisters Florence Tsuda and Janet Horinouchi, and a grandchild. Visitation: 3 p.m. March 30 at Kona Hongwanji Mission, Kealakekua. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
