Frank Sachio Nakahara, 77, of Honolulu, a former employee at Japan Airlines, retiree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an Army veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Walnut Grove, Calif. He is survived by wife Shirley A.; stepdaughter Christine A.M. Salyers; brothers Allan, Jun, Harry and Bill; and sisters Nancy and Kathy Nakahara, Alice Soto, Mary Iwasaki, Helen Yoshikawa and Amy Yamamoto. Private services.
