Lawrence Kupanihi Aki Jr., 79, of Henderson, Nev., an aerospace engineer and Air Force veteran, died in Henderson. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by hanai daughter Monica Hupp; brother Francis K. Sr.; sisters Inez Aki, Emmaline Kaailau, Juliet Tankersley, Violet Lung and Mary Huihui; and two grandchildren. Visitation:9 a.m. Saturday at Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum Chapel, 1887 Makuakane St., Honolulu, HI96817. Private inurnment. Aloha attire. No flowers.
