Samuel Toshikazu Tanimoto, 85, of Honolulu, a retired insurance agent and an Army veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice West. He was born in Paia, Maui. He is survived by companion Marlene S. Okubo; brother Edward Y.; sisters Nancy M. Matsuoka, Elaine F. Tanimoto and Susanne K. Kozaki; and caregiver Helena Naulu. Visitation: 5 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
