Dennis Ronaldo DeLeon Sr., 61, of Lahaina and Kailua-Kona, a former bus driver for MTL, Roberts of Hawaii Kona and Dollar Rent A Car, a truck driver for Maui Pineapple Co. and a security officer for Napili Kai Resort, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Clare; sons Dennis Jr., Robert and Justin; daughter Denise Alavazo; mother Julia Luat; stepmother Erline De Leon; brothers Stephen Duarte and John, Earl, Richard, Chris and Ben De Leon; sister Sylvia Simpson; and 17 grandchildren. Celebration of life: 9 a.m. Saturday at Solid Rock Ministries Kona. Services: 10:30 a.m. Scattering of ashes: 2 p.m. at Kamoa Point, Lyman's.
