Alice Sakae Ota, 92, of Pacheco, Calif., formerly of Palolo Valley, died in Pacheco. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Morris Ogata; daughter Arlene McLean; brothers James, Masaharu, Tsuneaki, Toshiaki and Akio Shimizu; and three grandchildren. Services held in California.
