William Martin Gavin III, 68, of Waianae, a Navy retiree, died at home. He was born in Tennessee. He is survived by wife Jane, daughters Kathleen M. Steele and Valerie A. Gavin, brother Joseph H., sister Barbara G. Walker, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
