Edwin T. Watanabe, 77, of Honolulu, an Army veteran, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Rosie, sons Wayne and Warren, daughter Wendy Chong, sister Jane Matayoshi and two grandchildren. Private services.
