Dr. Richard Etsuo Ando, 90, of Honolulu, a retired private-practice pediatrician, former Board of Education member and a Navy veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Thelma K.; sons Richard E. Jr., Dale and Dean; daughter Jennifer J.; brother Theodore; sister Jane Tomomitsu; and eight grandchildren. Private services.
