NORMAN ON YAU CHING
NORMAN ON YAU CHING Age 89, of Pearl City, HI, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2013 at Kapuna Wai Ola in Kapolei. Born October 14, 1923 in Honolulu, HI. Norman was an Army veteran and worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a shipfitter, Hickam Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic, and for the City and County of Honolulu as a swimming pool manager. He was active with the Pearl City Lions Club and the American Red Cross. He is survived by wife, Shin Hop "Hoppy" Ching; sons, Garrick (Yvonne) Ching, Clifton (Laurie) Ching, Gilmore (Rimiko) Ching; grandchildren, Jason, Chantel, Bradley, Cherie, Andrew, Jeffrey, Joshua and Hana. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (May 8) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Funeral Service 6:30 p.m. Burial 10:00 a.m. Thursday (May 9) at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. No flowers, please.
