74Howard H. Date, 72, of Waimea, Kauai, a retired Waimea Canyon Middle School science teacher, died at home. He was born in Waimea. He is survived by wife Sarah, son Daryl, daughters Rochelle Braun and Kristl Date-Dopps, sisters Trudy Uechi and Charlotte Date, and six grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at West Kauai Hongwanji Waimea. Services to follow.
