FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

JACK GAI CHANG
JACK GAI CHANG Jack Gai Chang passed away quietly on February 21, just two weeks shy of his 86th birthday. He lived most of his life in Honolulu, moving to Philadelphia in 2007 with his wife Harriet to be near their son Michael, wife Sally, and granddaughters Elizabeth and Diana. He is also survived by his son Terrill (John), wife Jan, and grand- sons Eric, Nathan, and Tyler. Trained as an accountant, Jack worked in commercial real estate and property management. He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed creating things of beauty, designing and constructing items ranging from office furniture to home furnishings, model airplanes, and fishponds stocked with koi. When he retired, he also took up ceramics and haku lei making. A memorial service will be held at Punchbowl National Cemetery on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 9:30 AM.
