75Juan Cabato Cabanilla Jr., 72, of Kahului, a retired operations manager for government and private contractors at the Haleakala satellite tracking observatory, died in Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Masako; sons Juan "Johnny" and Brandon; brothers Lawrence, Randy, Nathan and Donald; sisters Lenora Carpio, Pricilla Mikell and Karen Coloma; and two grandchildren.
