73Stanley Sadaaki "Pogot" Iwashita, 71, of Hilo, a fisherman, retired Isemoto Contracting Co. carpenter foreman and employee of M. Sonomura Contracting Co. and Constructors Hawaii Inc., died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Karen, sons Duane and Randy, daughter Danette Koochi, brother Elven, sisters Lillian Yamashita and Jeanne Kaneshiro, six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 10 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire.
