Arthur Norris Jones, 84, of Hilo, a retired engineer at San Jose Steel and West Coast Rebar, and an Army veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Thorsby, Ala. He is survived by sons David and Daniel, daughter Deborah Newton, brothers Robert and Walter "Bud," and two grandchildren. Private services.
