74Chiaki Akazawa, 89, of Kalaheo, Kauai, a Gay and Robinson mechanic, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Makaweli, Kauai. He is survived by son Clayton; brother Eugene; sisters Misao Mori, Yukiko Kubota and Itsuko Murabayashi; and a grandchild. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel, Lawai, Kauai. Services: 4:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
