Jose Talon, 83, of Pearl City, a retired rigger at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and a retired Army chef supervisor, died in Waipahu. He was born in Pulehu, Maui. He is survived by brothers Prudencio "Buddy" and Bernaldo "Chick," and sisters Philomena T. Racuya and Pricilla "Cissy" Van Kralingen. Visitation: 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Vianney Church. Services: 10:45 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Veterans of Foreign Wars. Online condolences: borthwickoahu.com.
