Gabriel Lamakuokana‘auao Kenzo "Gabe" Mercado, 10, of Volcano, Hawaii, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by parents Clinton and Keiko; brother Eli; grandparents Russell and Anne Kokubun, Manuel and Linda Mercado, and Jeff and Toni Case; and great-grandparents Mae Kokubun, Jean Rapoza and Alice and Manuel Mercado Sr. Visitation: 4 p.m. June 8 at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo.
