Kenneth Kaniho Sr., 83, of Waimea, Hawaii, a retired Honolulu Police Department officer, salesman for Schuman Carriage and Kapiolani Motors and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died at home. He was born in Waimea. He is survived by wife Lorraine, sons Gary and Guy, daughters Sharon Peterson and Blanche Batchelder, brothers Thomas and Martin, sisters Jane Gouvea and Kanai Tegman, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea. Services: 10 a.m. Celebration of life to follow at the Batchelders' farm, Puukapu Farm Lot, Waimea. Casual attire. No flowers.
