DOUGLAS J. BRUM
Douglas J. Brum, 72, of Las Vegas, NV died on April 20, 2013. A beloved husband and father, he worked as a project superintendent for Hawaiian Dredging & Construction Company for 40 years. Originally born in Lihue, Kauai, he often enjoyed diving for tako or sharing a story or joke with his family and friends. Douglas is survived by wife, Janice, two sons, Neal and Michael (Mary), and one granddaughter, Maile. He is also survived by mother, Eleanor (John) Stein, step- mother Winifred (Frank) Brum, two brothers, Harold (Anna) Brum and Wesley (Sharon) Brum, and four sisters, Dawn Stein, Sandy (Dean) Wendt, Johnnie (David) Miller, and Jeri (Bruce) Shaw. Visitation will be held on June 3, 2013 at 9:15am with service to follow at 10:00am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (1525 Waimano Home Road, Pearl City, HI 96782). The attire will be casual and his ashes will be buried privately at a later date.
