Koichi Fukuda, 88, of Hilo, a retired state Department of Taxation Hilo Office employee and an Army Military Intelligence Service veteran who served in World War II, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by daughter Renee Honda; sisters Shizue Nakano, Tomoyo Kondo and Mi-tsuko Muranaka; a grandchild; and a step-grandchild. Visitation: 4 p.m. Wednesday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 5 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
