Antonio "Tony" Gomera, 77, of Ookala, Hawaii, a retired factory mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Co. in Ookala and Hono kaa, an Air Force veteran, self-employed farmer and yard cleaning serviceman, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. He was born in Paauilo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Veronica M. Souza; sons Lawrence M. and Terrance A.; hanai sons Bert Braley, Gabe S. Gomera, Wesley Salboro and Royden Lukzen; daughter Antanette Tam Sing; hanai daughters Bridgette Kalles and Valerie Pointdexter; brothers Lucino, Domingo, Daniel and Gabriel; sisters Cris Poligratis, Julia Costa, Oria Michaelis and May Otomo; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Papaaloa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
