James Lyle Kahue, 66, of Kaneohe, a retired Honolulu Fire Department firefighter and an Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son David L.; mother Nancy Ocampo; brothers Howard K. "Dukie" Kahue Jr., Tsarkie and Michael Tsark; sisters Faith "Cookie" Burnett, Faye Ana Kahue and Pixie Castro; companion Brenda Char; and four grandchildren. Private services.
