William Lester "Bill" Nelson, 68, of Honalo, Hawaii, a comptroller for HiltonWaikoloa Village, a former Ellison Onizuka Space Center employee and a Navy veteran, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Malcolm Acol, daughters Marie Hong and Donna Berdon, mother Betty, brother Bruce, sister Toylyn Collier and four grandchildren. Graveside services: 9 a.m. Tuesday at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. No flowers.
