Jitsuyoshi Nakandakare
Nov. 27, 2013 Jitsuyoshi Nakandakare, also known as "Jits" and "Naka," 91, of Honolulu, retired owner of Naka's Meat Market and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company L, during World War II, died in Honolulu. He was born in Waiahole. He is survived by daughters Bella Yamashita, Fay Jitchaku, Sandra Nakandakare and Kathy McKenna; sons Jay and Bert; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 11 a.m. Sunday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: noon. Aloha attire.
