JITSUYOSHI “JITS” “NAKA” NAKANDAKARE
12-13 JITSUYOSHI NAKANDAKAREJITSUYOSHI "JITS" "NAKA" NAKANDAKARE Jitsuyoshi "Jits" "Naka" Nakandakare, 91, of Honolulu, passed away on November 27, 2013 in Honolulu. He was born on April 2, 1922 in Waihole, Hawaii. He was the retired owner of Naka's Meat Market located in Oahu Market. Naka was a member of Ishikawa Shijin Kai and was in the 442ndInfantry Regiment, Company L. He is survived by 6 children: Bella Yamashita, Fay (Calvin) Jitchaku, Jay (Janice) Nakandakare, Sandra (Paul) Tamashiro, Kathy (Gregory) McKenna and Bert Nakandakare; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The primary caregivers for the last four years were Essie, Dino, Daniel Felarca and family. The Nakandakare family wishes to acknowledge them as they have become part of our family. Thank you, Dad, for your sacrifices and all your years of hard work to support our large family. We will always remember the lessons taught to us about honesty, loyalty, perseverance, and the importance of family and friends. We know that you will be happy to be with Mom again after such a long separation. We send our love. Visitation from 11:00am on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
