Seikichi "Jimmy" Miyashiro, 93, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Sugar Co. machinist and an Army veteran who served in the 100th Battalion, Company B, during World War II, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Tomoe; sons Alvin, Jay and Edward; daughter Amy Kunimura; caregiver Saithorn Heffron; and four grandchildren. Private services.
