Herman "Skippy" Barboza, 91, of Waipahu, a retired refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanic at the Navy Public Works Center, Pearl Harbor, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Jeremias, Thomas, Ronald and Hiram; daughter Pamela Castellano; stepson Reginald Solomon; sister Florence Hill; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Dec. 26 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Services: 11:30 a.m. Burial: 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire. No flowers.
