VIRGINIA LEE WARACKA Celebrating the Life of Virginia Lee Waracka, age 80, of Kailua, Hawaii. Passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013. Virginia was born on November 7, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA to Gilbert Freeman Benson and Edith Adeline Nystrom. She attended San Fernando High School. She lived in San Fernando, CA and Kailua, Hawaii. She married Thomas E. Waracka on April 14, 1951. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church- Kailua, Miniatures Club of Hawaii, Corvette Club, Kailua Chamber of Commerce, Daughters of the Nile Egyptian No. 33, Honorary Mayor of Kailua, Soroptimist International of Honolulu, Red Hatters, and The Scandinavian Club of Hawaii. She was owner of Kailua Electric Service. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Terri (Francis) Waracka-Dyer; sons, Scott (Kathy) and Doug (Laurie) Waracka; grandchildren, Jessica ( Frank) Moyer, Scott-Michael (Heidi) Waracka, Esmay Callender, Brittany (Nainoa) Hopkins, Amber Waracka, Logan Waracka and Jordyn Waracka; great-grandchildren Bradley Moyer, Garrett and Parker Waracka, and Kana'i Hopkins; no flowers; donations can be made to Aloha Shriners by check to Patient Transportation Fund 1611 Kewalo St. Suite 201, Honolulu, HI 96822. Her services will be held 11:00a.m., Friday December 27, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church-Kailua; inurnment 1:00p.m.at Shriners Beach Home.
