82Florence Macaulay "Betsy-Sandy" Mitchell, 89, of Volcano, Hawaii, retired director of donor recruitment and community relations for the Blood Bank of Hawaii and co-founder and past president of the Cooper Center Council, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. She was born at Schofield Barracks. She is survived by husband Robert "Mitch" Jr., son Jim, daughter Mary Lou M. Davis, sister Margaret M. "Peggy" Woods and three grandchildren. Private services. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Cooper Center Council.
