81Eldon Nobu "Elekona" Akamine, 64, of Honolulu, a retired Palolo Elementary and Fern Elementary School teacher, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Susan, daughters Carrie K. Akamine and Sandi K. Yamagata, brothers Gerald and Owen, sister Lynette Agard and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
